Sumario: | Processes involving quartic electroweak gauge couplings have become experimentally accessible for the first time in the run-2 dataset of the LHC. In this talk, recent measurements of triboson production and the electroweak diboson production in association with two jets by the ATLAS experiment 1 are presented. Differential measurements of Zγγ production, as well as the observation of W γγ, W Zγ and Zγγ production are highlighted. Moreover, measurements of vector-boson scattering to ZZ, same-sign W W , and opposite-sign W W are discussed. They include a large set of differential distributions in the ZZ, Zγγ and same-sign W W channels. The results are used to constrain dimension-eight operators affecting quartic electroweak couplings in an Effective Field Theory framework. |
