Sumario:CERN alongside other institutes is currently in the process of testing silicon sensors for the High Luminosity upgrade of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS). These silicon sensors will be used for the high-granularity calorimeter (HGCAL), which is set to replace CMS’s end cap calorimeter. HGCAL will utilize silicon 8-inch hexagonal silicon sensors, however, single diode test structures are produced alongside the full sensors for further research. Both need to undergo electrical characterisation before and after irradiation; to study the effect of that on their functionality. This report focuses on the electrical characterisation procedures and results obtained from a campaign led on neutron-irradiated single diode test structures during the period June–August of 2023 by performing temperature scans.
