Sumario: | Inclusive ((± and p/p spectra in multihadronic events have been measured with the OPAL and the DELPHI detectors at LEP. The OPAL measurement uses the energy loss measurement in the jct-chamber to perform particle identification. DELPHI exploits the Ring-Imaging-CHerenkov (RICH) technique to identify hadrons. Good agreement between the results of the two experiments has been observed. The ((± spectra is found to be harder than the JETSET Monte-Carlo prediction, whereas the p/p rate is found to be lower than JETSET. DELPHI has measured the ((± ( p/p ) fracLion in single jets within 3 jct events. An enrichment of kaons and protons is seen in the least energetic jet. |
