Measurement of |$V_{cb}$| from exclusive semileptonic B decays

Exclusive semileptonic decays of B mesons allow for a nearly model independent determination of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi- Maskawa matrix element V_cb. New and updated measurements from the LEP experiments and from CLEO are presented. The combination of these results with earlier measurements from ARGUS and CLEO gives a value of V_cb = (39.6 \pm 1.8 (exp) \pm 1.3 (theo))\times 10^-3 from the decay B->D* l nu. The first measurements of the decay B->D+ l nu by the ALEPH and CLEO collaboration confirm the predictions from HQET.
