description A first estimate of the performance of LEP expected in 1999 (2000) is presented taking into account the configuration of LEP in this period when all the upgrades will have been implemented. Based on first-order theory the scaling laws with energy of the different limitations are given and the available peak luminosity as a function of energy is calculated for two extreme cases of the beam optics. An estimate of the average luminosity is presented.
