Proposal to increase the authorised amount of existing contracts for the supply and maintenance of automated magnetic tape equipment

This document concerns the proposal to increase the authorised amount of the existing contracts for the supply and maintenance of automated magnetic tape equipment, concluded following an invitation to tender (IT-2390/CN) sent out on 10 September 1996 (cf. document CERN/FC/3934). For the reasons explained in this document, the Finance Committee is invited to approve an increase of the authorised amount of the contracts with the company STORAGE TECHNOLOGY SA (CH) from 4 742 452 Swiss francs to 6 242 452 Swiss francs.
