Maintenance contracts

All the Maintenance contracts, but one, have been re-tendered. The Finance Committee is asked to take note of the revised expenditure in 1999 and of expected expenditure in 2000. The total estimated amount for 2000 for the Maintenance contracts referred to in this document (excluding computer maintenance and rentals) is expected to reach 16 550 000 Swiss francs at 1999 prices. The Finance Committee is invited: - to approve the estimated expenditure following the extension of the contracts after the initial three-year period or after the first one-year extension, foreseen in the original adjudications, namely those under references 1, 2, 3 and 4, highlighted in Table I; - to take note that a call for tenders for the contract under reference 6 in Table I is in preparation and that the total estimate for the year 2000 includes an estimate of expenditure in case of a possible change of contract. The final estimate will be confirmed at the time of adjudication of the new contract.
