description This document concerns the negotiation of a new contract for the production and machining of non-isotropic composite bars for the ATLAS Collaboration, based on the results of the call for tenders IT-2410/PPE/ATL dated 28 April 1997. For the reasons set out in this document, the Finance Committee is invited to approve the negotiation of a contract with VON ROLL ISOLA (CH), the second lowest bidder for call for tenders IT-2410/PPE/ATL, for the production and machining of 4 200 non-isotropic composite bars for a total amount not exceeding 2 600 000 Swiss francs, not subject to revision.
