Proposal to take up an option in an existing order for the supply of high-frequency switch-mode power converters rated at 16.25 kA, 16 V AND 6.5 kA, 16 V for the LHC test string

This document concerns the taking-up of an option in an existing order for the supply of high-frequency switch-mode power converters, rated at 16.25 kA, 16 V and 6.5 kA, 16 V. The Finance Committee is invited to agree to the taking-up of an option in the order placed with TRANSTECHNIK (DE) for the supply of high-frequency switch-mode power converters rated at 16.25 and 6.5 kA, for an amount of 430 810 Swiss francs, bringing the total order value to an amount of 1 171 006 Swiss francs, not subject to revision until December 2001. The firm TRANSTECHNIK (DE) has declared the following distribution by country of the order value covered by this adjudication proposal: DE - 100%.
