description This document concerns the award of a contract for the supply of Cabletron gigabit routers. Following a call for tenders (IT-2870/IT) sent on 14 July 2000 to 13 firms in three Member States, CERN received, by the closing date, tenders from four firms in one Member State. The Finance Committee is invited to agree to the negotiation of a contract with ACN (CH), the lowest bidder, for the supply of Cabletron gigabit routers for a total amount of 1 887 000 Swiss francs, not subject to revision. The firm has indicated the following distribution by country of the contract value covered by this adjudication proposal: IE-100%.
