Proposal to negotiate, without competitive tendering, a frame contract for the supply and maintenance of modular electronics equipment for the detectors of CERN experiments

This document concerns the supply and maintenance of modular electronics equipment specific to detectors used by CERN experiments. For the reasons set out in this document, the Finance Committee is invited to agree to the negotiation, without competitive tendering, of a frame contract with CAEN (IT), for the supply and maintenance of electronics instrumentation and high-voltage power supply systems, over an initial period of three years, for an estimated total amount not exceeding 7 500 000 Swiss francs. The contract will include options for two additional one-year periods beyond the initial three-year period, for an amount not exceeding 2 500 000 Swiss francs per year. The firm has indicated the following distribution by country of the contract value covered by this award proposal: IT-100%.
