Proposal for the donation of LEP equipment

The Finance Committee approved the donation of LEP equipment (CERN/FC/4329 and CERN/FC/4329/Add.) at its Meetings of 20 September 2000 (see CERN/FC/4336) and of 13 December 2000 (see CERN/FC/4383). CERN announced that the approval of the Finance Committee would be sought again, if further requests were made. Three more requests by institutes in Member States and four more requests by institutes in non-Member States have been received. In addition, two changes in earlier requests have been made because the equipment requested was found to be unsuitable for public exhibitions.
