description This document concerns the award of a contract for the supply of 600 A DC current transducers (DCCTs). Following a market survey carried out among 54 firms in fifteen Member States, a call for tenders (IT-2867/SL/LHC) was sent on 4 May 2001 to two firms in two Member States. By the closing date, CERN had received two tenders from the two firms. The Finance Committee is invited to agree to the negotiation of a contract with HITEC POWER PROTECTION (NL), the lowest bidder complying with the specification, for the supply of 600 A DC current transducers for a total amount of 721 380 euros (1 100 155 Swiss francs), not subject to revision, with an option for additional DCCTs for an amount of 150 000 euros (228 761 Swiss francs), subject to revision for deliveries after December 2004, bringing the total amount to 871 380 euros (1 328 916 Swiss francs).
