Proposal for the award of a blanket contract for the supply and installation of motorised glass-fibre doors

This document concerns the award of a blanket contract for the supply and installation of motorised glass-fibre doors. Following a market survey carried out among 54 firms in twelve Member States, a call for tenders (IT-2782/ST) was sent on 29 May 2001 to six firms and one consortium consisting of two firms, in four Member States. By the closing date, CERN had received four tenders from three firms and one consortium, in two Member States. The Finance Committee is invited to agree to the negotiation of a blanket contract with PORTEMATIC (CH), the lowest bidder, for the supply and installation of motorised glass-fibre doors for a total amount not exceeding 1 400 000 Swiss francs, not subject to revision until 31 December 2003. The firm has indicated the following distribution by country of the contract value covered by this adjudication proposal: DE - 85%; CH - 15%.
