Request for extensions of the contract for work in mechanical workshops (S 070/EST) and the contract for mechanical engineering and design support (S 078/EST)

This document concerns extensions of the contract S 070/EST (Work in Mechanical Workshops; CERN/FC/3950) until 30 September 2005 and of the contract S 078/EST (Mechanical Engineering and Design Support; CERN/FC/4027) until 30 June 2005. For the reasons set out in this document, the Finance Committee is invited to agree to: - the extension of the contract S 070/EST for a period of three years at the end of the initial five years of the contract, that is from 1 October 2002 until 30 September 2005, for an amount not exceeding 24 000 000 Swiss francs; - the extension of the contract S 078/EST for the second of the two optional years until 30 June 2003 for an amount not exceeding 4 300 000 Swiss francs; - the further extension of contract S 078/EST for a period of two years, that is from 1 July 2003 until 30 June 2005, for an amount not exceeding 8 600 000 Swiss francs.
