Proposal for the unblocking of the withheld part of the 2002 Materials Budget

In the light of the presentation at this meeting of the document "The Scientific Activities of CERN and Budget Estimates for the Years 2003-2010 - Preliminary Orientations" CERN/SPC/806-CERN/FC/4537 and taking account of the considerations set out in section 2 of this document, the Finance Committee is invited to recommend the Council to unblock the amount of 53 MCHF provisionally blocked within the approved 2002 Budget in December 2001, which will result in the reallocation of 33.1 MCHF to the LHC project and 19.9 MCHF to the other Divisions concerned as shown in the attached table.
