Proposal for the Unblocking of the Remaining Withheld Part of the 2002 Materials Budget

In the light of the presentation at this meeting of the document "The Scientific Activities of CERN and Budget Estimates for the Years 2003-2006 with a projection to 2010" CERN/SPC/811-CERN/FC/4567 and taking account of the considerations set out in section 2 below, the Finance Committee is invited to recommend the Council to unblock the remaining withheld part, amounting to 33 MCHF, of the resources allocated to the LHC project in the 2002 Materials Budget.
