Proposal for the Award of a Contract for the Stainless Steel Pipework for Cryogenic Systems and Primary Vacuum Systems for the ATLAS Project

This document concerns the award of a contract for the manufacturing, supply and installation of stainless steel pipework for cryogenic systems and primary vacuum systems for the ATLAS Project. The work will be entirely financed within the framework of the special contribution of the Canton of Geneva towards the ATLAS Project. For the reasons explained in this document, the Finance Committee is invited to agree to the negotiation of a contract with the firm ROSSI LINE CONSTRUCTION (CH), the lowest bidder, for the manufacturing, supply and installation of stainless steel pipework for cryogenic systems and primary vacuum systems for a total amount of 1 997 303 Swiss francs, not subject to revision, with an option for the supply of supplementary pipework, for an additional amount of 199 730 Swiss francs, not subject to revision, bringing the total amount to 2 197 033 Swiss francs, not subject to revision.
