Proposal for the Award of a Contract for the Supply and Installation of Prefabricated Concrete Modules for the PM54 Access Shaft

This document concerns the award of a contract for the supply and installation of prefabricated concrete modules for the PM54 access shaft. Following a market survey carried out among 49 firms in fifteen Member States, a call for tenders (IT-3137/ST/LHC) was sent on 11 September 2002 to five firms and one consortium consisting of two firms, in six Member States. By the closing date, CERN had received five tenders from four firms and the consortium in five Member States. The Finance Committee is invited to agree to the negotiation of a contract with ELEMENT (CH), the lowest bidder, for the supply and installation of prefabricated concrete modules for the PM54 access shaft for a total amount of 1 274 810 Swiss francs, not subject to revision. The firm has indicated the following distribution by country of the contract value covered by this adjudication proposal: CH - 100%.
