Sumario:It is of particular interest for the design of the ECAL cooling system to know the temperature and heat flux distribution in an electronic box. Ideally the power circuit absorbs the total heat flow generated in the electronics. However, in reality part of it passes to the air and through the isolants and may finally affect the temperature stability of the crystals. A 2D simulation of the electronic box has been performed. The geometry, materials and heat loads assumed are listed and, finally, the results and conclusions are presented in this report.
