Measurements of $\alpha_{s}$ with $e^{+}e^{-}$ annihilation data from 91 to 183 GeV

Measurements of alpha_s with e+e- annihilation data from 91 to 183 GeV The ALEPH Collaboration Distributions of the event-shape observables thrust, heavy jet mass, C-parameter, wide jet broadening and -ln y_3 are analyzed with particular emphasis on the energy evolution of the strong coupling constant and on the test of new analytic calculations of non-perturbative power law corrections.
