Search for charged Higgs bosons in $e^{+}e^{-}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ of 181-184 GeV

The data collected at centre-of-mass energies in vicinity of 183 GeV by ALEPH at LEP, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 57 pb-1, has been analysed in a search for pair-produced charged Higgs bosons H+H-. Three analyses are employed to select the tau nu tau nu, cs tau nu and cssc final states. No evidence for a signal is found and mass limits are set as a function of the branching fraction BR(tau nu) for H+- -->tau nu.
