Sumario: | An elementary Higgs boson, which is the remnant of the spontaneous symmetry breaking mechanism in the Standard Model, remains one of the most elusive particles. If a Higgs boson candidate is found at future accelerators, it becomes necessary to determine its properties, beyond the mass, production cross section and decay rates. The other crucial properties relate to the self-couplings of the Higgs boson, which are necessary to reconstruct the Higgs potential, and thereby confirm the mechanism of spontaneous symmetry breaking. In this paper we review the question of the measurability of some of the trilinear couplings of the neutral Higgs bosons of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model at a high-energy e+e- collider. |
