Search for structure in the mass region 2220 to 2240 $MeV/c^{2}$ in a $\overline{p} p \to \pi^{0} \pi^{0}$, $\eta \pi^{0}$, $\eta \eta$ formation experiment

Results of a search for narrow resonances in a pp formation experiment with the Crystal Barrel Detector at LEAR are presented. The cross sections for pp to pi /sup 0/ pi /sup 0/, eta pi /sup 0/ and eta eta are determined for annihilation at 9 momenta in the region square root (s)=2222-2240 MeV/c/sup...
