Approval for the construction of a 300 GeV proton synchrotron
On 19 February a special session of CERN Council gave approval for the construction of a 300 GeV proton synchrotron. In the photograph the letter of participation from The Netherlands changes hands between Jan Barrier and Eliane de Modzelewska.
