Production mechanisms for high mass resonances

For a sequence of resonance states of increasing spin and mass which lie on a given Regge trajectory, the two-body production mechanisms are compared. Duality provides relations between the respective couplings and an explicit dual model vertex structure is shown to relate $\pi N\to \rho N$ and $\pi N\to f_{O}N$ amplitudes.
