Sumario:The world-Wide Web (W3) is a networked information system that is now in widespread use throughout the academic institutes of the world. W3 originated at CERNThe talk is aimed at those people who have never seen or used it,but casual and novice users or those who would like to start publishing are also welcome. After a short demonstration, ther will be an explanation of the basic properties of the Web, a presentation of the CERN support team and indications on how to become a user if you are not already.
