Sumario: | The Booch and OMT methods represent the two most mature and widely used approaches to object-oriented analysis and design.Since their introduction 6 years ago both have evolved and from other methods. This talk describes the unification of the Booch and OMT methods by Grady Booch and Jim Rumbaugh leading to the recent public release of over 100 pages of documentation describing the Unified Method models and notation.THE aUTHORS ARE NOW AWAITING PUBLIC FEEDBACK BEFORE COMPLETING A FINAL VERSION OF THE METHOD NEXT YEAR.
