PNPI in CMS
PNPI is participating in the construction of the End-cap Muon system (EMU) of the CMS detector. The EMU detector uses cathode strip chambers, which pro- vide precise spatial and timing information on the muon trajectories in the pres- ence of high magnetic field and high particle rates.
