Integration of resources on the World Wide Web using XML

This paper proposes a solution to the problem of integration and reuse of heterogeneus information distributed on the Web by enriching existing content semantic with metadata in order to improve understanding and discovery.The main part of the work is the study of RDF standard for representing metadata, and its implementation using theXML syntax applied to the case study of the Outreach Web site. The Outreach project is an initiative that has beenstarted at CERN to explain High Energy Physics to the general public.
