Sumario: | The current scope and status of projected B-physics studies with the ATLAS detector are presented. With the early low-luminosity running, high-statistics studies of various B-decay channels will allow measurements of the unitarity-triangle angles alpha and beta and searches for deviations from the Standard Model. ATLAS will also perform measurements of B/sub s/ oscillations and of the B/sub s/ and Lambda /sub b/ production and decay properties. ATLAS will be able to access rare B-decays using high- and low-luminosity running. (10 refs). |
