Measurement of the cross-section of single W boson production and the anomalous couplings in the L3 experiment

In this paper, the cross-sections of single W boson production in e /sup +/e/sup -/ to e/sup -/ nu /sub e/W/sup +/ and e/sup +/e/sup -/ to e/sup +/ nu /sub e/W/sup -/ were measured based on the data samples collected by the L3 detector in 1996 and 1997. The limits on the anomalous couplings of the WW gamma triple gauge bosons are derived at 95% CL:-0.65< Delta kappa /sub gamma /<0.82 and -1.37< lambda /sub gamma /<0.92. The results are consistent with standard model predictions and no anomalous couplings are found. (13 refs).
