Progress in QCD tests

In this talk we report on recent LEP results in QCD test and on some theoretical predictions for further tests. Measurements of the strong coupling constant alpha /sub s/ and on properties of gluon jets are presented elsewhere in this proceedings. We present results on the determination of the color factor ratio C/sub A//C/sub F/ from the multiplicity scale dependence, the measurement of the longitudinal cross-section in hadronic events and on recent results from LEP II on <n/sub ch/> and xi /sub 0/ at different square root s values. We also report on recent MLLA predictions for soft particles and on features of the Cambridge jet algorithm. (11 refs).
