Recent results from CHORUS and NOMAD experiments

CHORUS and NOMAD experiments are searching for nu /sub tau / appearance in the CERN wide band neutrino beam by using complementary detection techniques. They have both completed the data taking and the first results on the full data sample are reported here. No evidence for oscillation has been found and the new upper limits on the oscillation probability P( nu /sub mu / to nu /sub tau /) and P( nu /sub e/ to nu /sub tau /) are more than an order of magnitude lower than the previous best experiment.
