Final states with $\pi$ and $\eta$ for determining $\alpha$

We discuss the measurement of the CKM phase a through B decays with pi and eta mesons in the final states. We review the conventional 2 pi and 3 pi modes, and examine additional modes with eta in the final state. In particular, we study the isospin analysis and the Dalitz plot analysis of the decay...
