Sumario:The unexpectedly high rate of soft photons produced in hadron interactions remains a puzzle. We report on the experimental characteristics of the anomalous soft photons produced in pi /sup -/p interactions at 280 GeV/c in the CERN experiment WA9l, namely, the energy dependence of the photon radiation and its angular behavior.
