Sumario:We present the most recent results from ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL on searches at LEP for the tau , the scalar supersymmetric partner of the tau . Most results include the data collected in 2000 at E/sub CMS/ up to 208 GeV. The results of combining the data of the four experiments (total L=585 pb/sup -1/) are also presented. No significant excess of events with respect to the numbers expected from SM processes were seen. We present results in terms of exclusion regions in the (M/sub tau /, M( chi /sub 1//sup 0/)) plane. The 95% CL excluded mass is M/sub tau />or=85 GeV/c/sup 2/, provided that M( chi /sub 1//sup 0/) >or=35 GeV/c/sup 2/, and Delta M is large. (7 refs).
