Search for charged Higgs bosons in $e^{+}e^{-}$ collisions at DELPHI

A search for pair produced charged Higgs bosons was performed using the data collected by the DELPHI detector at LEP II at centre-of-mass energies up to 208 GeV. The three different final states, tau nu tau nu , cs tau nu and cscs were considered. No excess of data compared to the expected standard...

description A search for pair produced charged Higgs bosons was performed using the data collected by the DELPHI detector at LEP II at centre-of-mass energies up to 208 GeV. The three different final states, tau nu tau nu , cs tau nu and cscs were considered. No excess of data compared to the expected standard model processes was observed and the existence of a charged Higgs boson with mass lower than 75.0 GeV/c /sup 2/ has been excluded at 95% confidence level. (16 refs).
