Sumario: | The Large Hadron Collider with its two general-purpose proton-proton experiments Atlas and CMS provides ample opportunities for precision measurements of Standard Model parameters. Ultimate precisions of 5\:\mathrm{ MeV}$ for the $W boson mass and better than :\rm{GeV}$ for the top mass are expected. Sensitivities to triple gauge couplings will improve by orders of magnitude. Novel areas like single top production and high-mass Drell-Yan lepton pairs will be open to exploration. |
