Statistical coalescence model of J/$\psi$ production at the SPS and RHIC
A recently developed statistical coalescence model of the J/$\psi$ production is presented. The NA50 data on the J/$\psi$ suppression pattern and the transverse mass spectra in Pb+Pb collisions at the SPS are analyzed. The model predictions for the RHIC energies are formulated.
