Measurement of $\gamma^{*} \gamma^{*}$ collisions at LEP

Measurement of the reaction e/sup +/e/sup -/ to gamma /sup */ gamma /sup */ to e/sup +/e/sup -/hadrons at LEP is presented. The cross section of gamma /sup */ gamma /sup */ collisions is measured at centre of mass energies square root s approximately=90-202 GeV. The average (Q/sup 2/) is up to 15 GeV/sup 2/. The results are in agreement with predictions based on perturbative QCD, while the quark parton model alone is insufficient to describe the data. The measurements lie below the leading order BFKL predictions. (6 refs).
