Sumario:A new tagging method to measure the angle beta in the unitarity triangle by the decay B/sub d//sup 0/ to J/ psi K/sub s//sup 0/ has been studied. The nature of the b-quark is known by the charge of the emitted pion in the B**/sup +or-/ decay: B**/sup +or-/ to B/sub d //sup 0/(B/sub d//sup 0/) pi /sup +or-/. The study, in this article presents a accurate description of the CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) detector performance, it also takes into account pile-up effect at low luminosity. The expected precision of the CMS detector measurement for angle beta with this method has been evaluated to be delta (sin 2 beta )=0.022. (18 refs).
