description | The seventh CTF3 collaboration meeting was held at CERN on 12th and 13th June 2002. Representatives from INFN-Frascati, LAL, RAL, SLAC, Uppsala University and CERN participated. The main focus was the work for the nominal phase, but also very spectacular results were reported from the preliminary phase. Progress was reported on all activities. The design and layout studies are far advanced and very active hardware design and prototyping is going on. The construction of major systems has started. The major milestones for 2003 are the commissioning of the injector, the first part of the Drive Beam Accelerator and a 30 GHz high power RF source after the first four accelerator sections. |
