Sumario:The workshop in 2003 was the second in the series devoted to the LHC and was composed of 11 half day sessions. It started with a session devoted to the injector chain which was followed by a session devoted to ions throughout the whole facility. The second day reviewed issues relating to the LHC magnets and installation and hardware commissioning. On the Wednesday issues concerning operation with unprecedented beam energy and the controls which will be required for safe operation were presented. Thursday's sessions were devoted to machine commissioning and on Friday the susceptibility to mains disturbances and vacuum issues were examined. In the final session on the Saturday morning, outstanding issues were discussed and the decisions resulting from the week were recorded. Summaries of the ten sessions were presented at CERN in the week following the workshop.
