description This document concerns the award of a contract for the supply of 1020 end-caps for the scintillator strip trackers of the OPERA experiment. For the reasons explained in this document, the Finance Committee is invited to agree to the negotiation of a contract with the firm AERIANE (BE), the lowest bidder, for the supply of 1020 end-caps for the scintillator strip trackers for a total amount of 494 700 euros (approximately 750 000 Swiss francs). The work will be entirely financed by the UNIVERSIT LIBRE DE BRUXELLES (BE).
