Sumario: | The COMPASS collaboration at CERN will run part of the time with a transversely polarised target in order to measure transversity through semi-inclusive DIS. There exist 3 different channels, COMPASS plans to exploit all of them but only the so-called Collins effect was simulated so far. Error bar estimates are presented both for proton and deuteron target. The feasibility of flavour separation is also briefly discussed. (6 refs). |
