Development of the system for beam transversal oscillation damping in the LHC collider
A system for suppression of coherent transversal oscillations of the proton beam in the LHC collider (CERN) is described. The system compensates the injection errors and ensures conservation of beam luminosity during collider operation. Main units of the system and its present state are described. (...
