The influence of the jet fragmentation parameters on jet velocities is studied using different Monte~Carlo simulations at the Z peak. Varying the jet fragmentation parameters within their uncertainties, the resulting variations on the jet velocity (beta gamma=P_jet/M_jet) are contained at the level...
