| Sumario: | A presampler prototype has been tested together with a liquid argon accordion shaped calorimeter in beam in June 1996. The presampler granularity was matching the calorimeter one and the presampler only provided for an energymeasurement. In this note we present the energy resolution of the combinedpresampler-calorimeter system with different amounts of dead material upstream of the calorimeter. The uniformity of the presampler response in theeta and phi directions was also studied. |
