This document summarises the work performed, within the context of the DAQ-Unit of the DataFlow system in ATLAS DAQ/EF prototype -1 on intra and inter-Input/Output Module (IOM) message passing. This document fulfils the ATLAS DAQ/EF prototype -1 milestone of February 99.
